Playtika entrusted me with a critical role as the technical lead for their web applications, specifically focused on the popular online poker game WSOP. In this capacity, I oversaw the development of both the Facebook and standalone versions of the game.

To ensure the applications' success, we utilized React for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end. The architecture incorporated Client-Side Rendering (CSR) encapsulated within a Node Express server, which provided enhanced security, redirection capabilities, and version control.

As part of my responsibilities, I actively sought opportunities to improve the developer experience (DX). To this end, I designed and implemented several development tools that streamlined the development process and enhanced productivity. One notable tool was a QA (Quality Assurance) tool, enabling efficient testing of different application versions across various environments at designated times. Adding a touch of fun, the activation of these tools was achieved through the iconic Konami code.

By investing in the DX and implementing innovative tools, we fostered an environment that enabled developers to work more efficiently and effectively. These enhancements not only accelerated the development process but also contributed to the overall quality and stability of the WSOP applications.

My involvement as the technical lead for Playtika's web applications, particularly for WSOP, allowed me to make a meaningful impact on the success of these projects. By utilizing cutting-edge technologies like React and Node.js and introducing developer-friendly tools, we optimized the development process and delivered high-quality applications to players worldwide.
